Dom Toretto's (Vin Diesel) little brother Jakob (John Cena) is trying to get his nephew Brian (Leo Abelo Perry) to the crew's hidden rendezvous point in Portugal. But Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), the son of Fast 5's Hernan Reyes, has other plans. He's using the God Hand, the ultimate hacking and tracking tool, to find the crew's location.

Henchmen swarm the rendezvous point, and Jakob and Brian escape in Jakob's latest project: a car rigged with dual cannons. Dom chases after them in a military jet, piloted by Aimes (Alan Ritchson), the new head of the Agency.

Dante catches up to Jakob and Brian, and he nabs Brian, who climbed onto the back of the car in order to fix the jammed cannon rig. Dom catches up, and Jakob launches his car with a split fuel line over the median, sacrificing himself to give Dom the space to get his son back.

In a truly wild two-car spinout, Little Brian opens the passenger door of Dante's car right as it aligns with Dom's open passenger window and leaps inside, successfully reuniting with his dad.

The ending of Fast X is full of cliffhangers. What will happen to Jakob? Is Aimes really an ally? And who is the mystery woman in the submarine? We'll have to wait for Fast XI to find out.
